SMC Ltd. Partners to Create Face Shields For First Responders

SMC Ltd. is providing face shields to first responders through a partnership with 3 other companies also donating their services. SMC’s engineering and tooling department designed and built tooling for the face shields in a record 72 hours, then molded the headband frames from resin donated by Eastman. A third company donated the replaceable clear film which attaches to the frame. SMC’s Somerset, WI location molded 10,000 headband frames that were donated to Hospitals in Massachusetts for first responders in the fight against COVID-19. Click here to read the full press release.
